Daibutsu Hiking Trail is the most famous course in Kamakura. it's very often hiked by tourists visiting both Kamakura and Kita-Kamakura. Tourists often take it as a route linking the beautiful Kita-Kamakura temples to Kamakura's Great Buddha statue. the whole hike is about an hour, and even if it could be busy, it's definitely worth doing :)
To avoid the crowd, we went hiking late in the afternoon, around 3pm. As expected, the trail was quiet and the trees looked amazing around sun-set time. Comments are closed.
