My partner and I took our Yoga mats, water, and I my camera, and went in a search of a new hiking course. It was quiet an adventure as we walked through the narrow cliffs in search of the unknown.
After about a 30 minute hike, we could finally find a historic place called "Daibutsu Kiridoshi".
According to Kamakura City Board of Education, Daibutsu Kiridoshi is one of seven opening passes of Kamakura. This pass leads to Musashi and Kyoto via Kajiwara and Yamasaki. It is unknown when it was built but it's thought to have been built between 1241 and 1250.
It'l also believed that this place could have been a battlefield when Kamakura was attacked according to the medieval chronicle "Taiheiki".
We had a lot of fun walking and exploring this beautiful historical site, and we look forward to share this beautiful hiking place with everyone :)
